Dec. 2012: HumanLight Display Erected at Indiana Courthouse

A Christian nativity scene has been joined by a HumanLight display on the grounds of the Wabash County Indiana courthouse. County officials approved it on Dec. 3 following an inquiry made by the American Humanist Association’s Appignani Humanist Legal Center.

If you have kids, come about 10:30 for crafts and play. If you are interested, kids and adults can participate in a worship service at 11:00 (or stay with a group of humanists who are not interested in such a service). Adults should come about noon.

All events will be in the the Assembly Hall of the the Community Church of New York 40 East 35th Street – New York, NY 10016.

Our celebration is designed for single adults as well as families with children. It will include informal social interactions, music, food, making ornaments, decorating a tree, playing games, and celebration our humanist values and our community.
